I recently signed up for a small space of real estate blog with plans to move in, re-decorate and hang up some lovely little paper creations. After a cosy house warming, a bit of unpacking and a few photographs posted up on my wall, I felt the warmth of domesticated bliss. If felt great, but I knew very quickly I wanted more.
I wanted to..
Write about what happens before 3am. I wanted a vintage type writer. The goodness of online shopping. Organic skincare felt refreshing. Campos Coffee tasted so good. I have an Atomic. French women dress well. Mio cupcakes taste the best. Take me to Stockholm. Everybody wants Isabel marant. I needed some Alexander Wang. . Jerome Dreyfuss bags feels so soft. I cant say no to Repetto. Do you want this? I need to renovate.
I want a bigger blog.
Blog Me.
My week.
I am busy making cupcake toppers. 0 calories and oh so sweet.
I am drafting the stories of those creatures that move wickedly before 3am.
I want a baby blue type writer, but it is not my favourite colour.
Someone once asked me what my favourite colour was..
I told him 'Green' but did not feel the need to explain the shade of green. Ie. olive green, khaki green, I have bright green shoes, and I like green bags. And you can have Mint green T shirts.
To this he replied? Was your dad in the army? Strange and No. He's favourite colour was Red? Maybe it reminded him of strawberries? He wanted to explain further and suggested red was a sensual colour?
What do you think?
Does wearing red make you feel sensual?
The traffic lights consist of three coloured lights.
Red, Amber and Green.
Red indicates STOP. Amber tells me to proceed but with CAUTION.
And the lovely Green says your looking good and are right to GO!!
So tell me are you a sitting red duck? Or Running free in green.
My quote for the week is from Jerome Dreyfuss....
'Prendre soin de son compagnon' : in english,
And Ill take care of Mine.
Bye for now.
Come back and see my shortly.

Parisian woman do know how to dress! you can
ReplyDeletenever say no to Jerome...So I will take a pair of Repettos in the envy of colours - Green !!
When I was a rockabilly baby, I was awful fond of red. But I was a child, and as you have so insightfully noted, this may have been the result of having heard the word 'no' so very often. For the last five or so years, my favourite colours have been olive green and grey (any shade). And though my father was in the army, if somebody questioned the relevance of that fact, I would tell them they are a lunatic. Stark and raving. Or would they be odd and questioning? I digress. I tire of those colours now. To my shock, I have been drawn to cornflour blue (whatever in blazes that means) and mustard. Very much mustard. I am curious to know what your insight (and your lovely guts) tell you about that.
ReplyDeleteYours in colours and words,
Caici
Im overjoyed by both your comments.
ReplyDeleteMuch tree love from a green tree frog X
Mustard.
ReplyDeleteHow 90's?
I am getting flicking images of Mustard turtle neck tops with something scribbled around the neck in attitude, like 'cross colours?
Yes Iv said it. Mustard tickles me in laughter, are you a 90s rebel child.
Something salt and peppa to it. Wanna man, wanna man, wanna mighty good man.
With all this mustard talk... it inevitably boils down to one thing women want, 'man'.
Talk to me Caici....
